Your Boss Made a Biased Remark. Should You Confront Them?

There are many ways bias shows up at work. The insidious, “Are you sure you will be able to manage that project?” or the more shocking, “That’s the reason I don’t have women on my team!” to the occasional homophobic joke that some colleagues seem to bond over.

Regardless of the type of bias, it usually triggers a lot of feelings: Discomfort. Stress. Anger. And, hopefully, the urge to do something about it.
